We’re just entered into 2017 and there’s already a flow of exciting smartphones launching lined up. In fact, a handful of handsets is slated to launch in the month of January itself.
Here are 4 smartphones that will be coming to India this month.
Chinese smartphone Company Coolpad recently announced that it will launch its budget smartphone Conjr in India soon. Coolpad Conjr runs Cool UI 8.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
The device features a 5-inch IPS HD (720x1280 pixels) display with 294 ppi pixel density and a 70.6% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6735CP processor, clubbed with an ARM Mali-450 GPU and 3GB RAM.
The Coolpad Conjr comes with an inbuilt 16GB storage, which can be expanded to 64GB through a microSD card.
In the camera department, the smartphone features a 13MP autofocus rear camera with 5P Lens and f/2.2 aperture. An 8MP fixed focus camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture has been added on the front. On the connectivity front, the smartphone supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, 4G LTE and GPS. It is backed by a 2,500mAh battery.

Huawei's sub-brand Honor will be bringing its Honor 6X smartphone to Indian shores soon. The smartphone was recently showcased at CES 2017 in Las Vegas. The highlight of the Honor 6X is its dual rear camera setup, which comes with a 6P Lens and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF). While one module is a 12MP one, the other one has a resolution of 2MP. The Honor 6X also has an 8MP selfie-camera.
Honor 6X features a 5.5-inch Full-HD resolution display with 2.5D curved glass. It’s powered by the company's home-brewed octa-core Kirin 655 processor clubbed with Mali T830-MP2 GPU. The 4G VoLTE supporting smartphone is backed by a 3,340mAh battery with fast charging support. Redmi Note 4 was announced earlier in August 2016 in the Chinese market. The Indian release of this device may feature a Snapdragon chipset. Xiaomi is planning for a launch event that is taking place in New Delhi on January 19, 2017. Although there's no confirmation about exactly which device will be announced at this launch event. But it is expected that Xiaomi will launch Redmi Note 4, the successor to the popular Redmi Note 3 device.

Nubia Z11 Mini S
ZTE's owned brand Nubia will be launching two smartphones in India soon. These are the Z11 Mini S and a 64GB variant of the company’s earlier launched N1 budget smartphone.
Nubia Z11 Mini S features a 5.2-inch Full HD display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution. The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. It offers 64GB/128GB of internal storage and supports microSD cards up to 256GB in size.
The Z11 Mini S runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Nubia UI running on top of it. It sports a 23MP rear camera with LED flash, as well as a 13MP front shooter for selfies. The smartphone is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as connectivity options. See more
